Season four The Voice contestant Holly Tucker learns a lot from Blake Shelton, has bright future ahead

Holly Tucker, a country artist and native of Waco, Texas, attends Baylor University and was a member of their marching band, but when she decided to audition for season four of The Voice, her life would change when all four coaches pushed their buttons and turned around for her.

While Shelton may have been the last to turn around, the reason was because he wanted to hear whose version of 'To Make You Feel My Love" she was singing. When he realized it was the Garth Brooks version, then the country superstar turned around.

While Tucker had a difficult decision to made, she ended up picking Shelton.

The Waco native would make it all the way to the top six, alongside fellow country artists and Team Blake members Danielle Bradbery, The Swon Brothers, Team Adam member and country artist Amber Carrington, as well as Team Usher member and indie artist Michelle Chamuel, and Team Shakira member Sasha Allen.

According to an article on the Waco Tribune's website, which appeared after she was eliminated, Tucker said that she only wants to give off good vibes in her songs.

"I've grown up in church with really good parents who have taught me the values I need as a person," Tucker said. "I select my songs really carefully. I don't do trashy songs. I'm not going to go to another level and sing about things that are not me. I want to be the type of artist that people can listen to and really feel good."

In the same article, Tucker explained what she learned about stage presence from the show.

"When you have a big audience and a huge stage to fill, you want to use every part of it," Tucker said. "I saw myself turn into a better performer. I learned how to move on the stage and feel comfortable with that. I always knew I had something, but i didn't know how far it would take me."

Tucker revealed in an article on the Christian Post website what it was like working with Shelton.

"Working with Blake has been the best part of it all. I've always wanted to get that professional opinion and advice on what I should do with my career and help mold me into the artist I've always wanted to be. His coaching and friendship have been invaluable to me throughout the process and I wouldn't trade it for anything. He's such a great man too. He's exactly the same person off camera as he is on camera. I really admire that in him," she said.

Since the show, Tucker recorded a song with Rick Greyson and according to the Waco Tribune article, she plans to visit with record labels in Nashville.

Greyson released his single "Serenade" on Sept. 26, which features Tucker. On her Twitter page, the Waco native said she got to perform the song live with Greyson yesterday on 92.9 Shooter FM, a country station in Waco.

Cassadee Pope's life changes drastically after The Voice

Cassadee Pope, a 22-year old pop/rock singer and native of West Palm Beach, Florida, may have been the lead singer of Hey Monday, a rock band she formed at the age of 18. But her life would change drastically when she auditioned for season three of The Voice. As the lead singer of Hey Monday, Pope said the band got to tour and open up for the band Fall Out Boy. But when the band broke up after 2.5 years together and an opportunity was presented to her to go solo, the West Palm Beach native said she was ready to move on and auditioned for The Voice.

Pope sang a passionate version of the song "Torn" by Natalie Imbruglia and commanded the stage. Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, and Adam Levine turned around at the same time. Later, CeeLo Green followed suit and turned around, giving Pope a four chair turn and a tough decision of whose team to join.

After her audition, Christina Aguilera mentioned that were several musical elements in Pope's performance.

"That was so well executed," Aguilera said. "You had something a little country in there that you can do something with, you had something very pop-driven, you had something that was a little rock. You can kinda do it all."

The then 22-year old made it to the finale and was named The Voice of season three.

Since being crowned the winner, Pope, 24, has released her debut album "Frame By Frame" and had the opportunity to open for the Rascal Flatts Live And Loud tour alongside The Band Perry in 2013.

According to an article on billboard.com, Pope talked about what it was like to record her debut country album.

"I'm probably the most personal with this project than I have been with anything else. Getting to work with Dan Huff was really special. He's so good, and his rock, pop, and county sensibilities are all so great. I knew I wanted to do country music, but he helped me really hone in on what that sound is, and making sure that I was staying true to myself - going back to my country roots, but having that modern feel to it. I think we came out with a really great body of work."

To give fans an inside look on what is going on in her life now, Pope filmed a series with Country Music Television (CMT) entitled Cassadee Pope: Frame By Frame. In the first episode, Pope mentioned that she grew up singing country music until her teens. That was when she formed the band Hey Monday. To promote herself as a solo artist and decide which track should be her next single, Pope set out on a radio tour to over 20 cities, which began in Phoenix, Arizona.

Her debut single, "Wasting All These Tears" is currently number 21 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and Pope debuted it on season four of The Voice, and also performed it when she made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry.

According to her website, Pope will serve as the opening act for Dean Brody on his Canadian tour which begins January 31, 2014.

To show that he was the right choice for her, Shelton choked with laughter at the other coaches, especially Levine who was also vying for RaeLynn and said "I can make you a country star."

While she may not have won season two of The Voice, RaeLynn placed third on Team Blake.

Since competing on the show, the 18-year-old Baytown, Texas native has accomplished a lot, including recording with Shelton, going on tour, and recording her debut album.

Gwen Sebastian: Her journey on The Voice and where she is today

Gwen Sebastian, a native of Hebron, North Dakota, received a boost to her country music career when she auditioned for season two of the hit NBC reality television music competition The Voice. She sang the tender Sugarland hit "Stay" with a lot passion and told a compelling story. While she turned three coaches chairs (Blake Shelton, CeeLo Green, and Adam Levine), Sebastian ultimately chose Shelton as her coach.

After securing a spot on Team Blake, Sebastian was coached by Shelton and also got advice from Shelton's mentors (his wife and fellow country artist Miranda Lambert and the original American Idol, Kelly Clarkson) in preparation for the next stage of the competition, the battle rounds. She took on team member Erin Willet, a singer/songwriter and native of Gaithersburg, Maryland. The two sang "We Belong" by Pat Benatar and both singers fought it out until the very end. Shelton had a tough decision to make.

"Seriously, I wish it wasn't that good," Shelton told Sebastian and Willet after the battle.

Even though he chose Willet to go on to the next round, Shelton complimented Sebastian on her positive contributions to the performance.

"Gwen, I could tell when you were singing, you were taking some chances, I mean you know what kind of singer Erin is and how powerful she is. I appreciate the chances you were taking as far as the notes you were going for," Shelton said.

According to her website, the North Dakota native was a part of her family band when she was young and then became a solo country artist. She performed several shows, released albums as an independent artist, and worked hard to be noticed in the country genre.

In a quote from her website, Sebastian describes the push she needed to further her music career.

"No matter what I decided at that point, I know I'd still be singing," she says. "But at any job, you always want a promotion. And that's kind of how I look at all this. Now I'm working to climb the ladder a little more."

Since being eliminated from the show, Sebastian has toured with Shelton, is featured on the track "My Eyes" off of Shelton's latest album Based On A True Story, and released her debut self-titled album on June 25, with "Suitcase" as the lead single.

In 2013, she has toured with Shelton on his Ten Times Crazier tour as a back-up vocalist as well as performing her own shows in support of her album. She was also the opening act on Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley's Locked And Reloaded tour, according to an article on www.theboot.com.
